Server Information / That Widely Debated Discussion. (TWDD)

So,you all know we're trying to change the server to make it less like...Rune-Scape. We all realize this is going to be hard but we have broken it down into different segments. First off, we are editing the graphics. Its a very top secret process but i have been able to release a few sprite pack edits. THESE ARE NOT THE FINAL DESIGNS.
Please comment telling us what you think of them.

Effective ways to advertise:
#1 Voting Regularly
Voting helps our server, and helps you get items! It keeps us recognized!

#2 Bumping or spamming our threads Advertisement Threads (Links below):

- Spamming and bumping these is probably one of the MOST effective ways to advertise. All you have to do is post on it daily, with whatever comment you want people view it and join the server. If there was one item on this list to choose from (besides voting), this would be the best.
#3 YouTube video making:
- Pretty straightforward, making a YouTube video will go a long way helping the server. This is really helpful when advertising but alot of people don't like going this extra mile, (trust me it's worth it though). Remember to put the link to the website if you do make a YouTube video!
#4 Msn, Facebook, Myspace, Skype status
- Great way to get people. Might seem cheesy to some people "Why would I put this on my status?", but like honestly. Who cares what people think, why not do it? If you're too shy to posts it on Facebook/Myspace, at least try and do it on Msn or Skype.
#5 Chatbox Spamming
- Don't go to other servers and spam their chatbox, that's a don't. Visit this link: http://www.rs-ps.org/ they allow you to advertise your servers on their chatbox. It's a great way to get new players, since you'll be a guest though you can't post images so it'll be best to change your Xat "house" to our website, or PM other members and link them there.
Non-effective ways to advertise:
#1 Advertising on another RSPS:
- The guys next door worked just as hard to make his server as we did. Don't try and go there and destroy his work, this is a horrible thing to do, how would you feel if some random guy came here advertised and took all the players you voted to join? It's just not nice. The only time it's okay to advertise on someone else's RSPS is if they advertised here first. If they didn't advertise here leave them alone.

Dear all Darkened Combat players.Unfortunatly,i am having to take a leave of absence due to 'In real life' problems. I understand that this may be upsetting for a few of you-but do not worry.I will check in when i can and i will remember to update the vps. Also,if i can i will get vote,and castlewars fixed. Tornado66111 and illiil6 will help maintain the server.They will deal with donations and everything else. All i can say is:Its not the owner of a server that makes it special-its the players. And you players,you really are something special. 
. I'll miss all of you,and hopefully i wont be gone for too long. As i have said,i will try and check in now and then.

Server Information / Our letter of complaint to the VPS company.

Felt you should all know what the letter entails:
I am writing this letter to complain about your awful services. I used to think you were a reasonably good vps company,and i even bought an extra gb of ram. Perhaps that is where i went wrong? After asking for a refund,you closed my vps. You made me change vps,VERY slowly,and this took hours of my VALUABLE time. Aswell as that,you have frequently turned OFF my server. I do not understand why you would do this? I own an 'Rsps' Which is a 'ihavenolife. private server'. Many people play this,and thus when the vps goes down so does my game. I have lost a lot of money due to this,Players who promised to donate no longer did. Also,my game now has a bad reputation,we can no longer promise that we are 24/7 because your company kept on deciding to turn our vps off.
Your live chat is disgusting. Most the people there do not understand how to talk basic english.This means it takes a long time to get a simple conversation going,and then they end up leaving the conversation for hours anyway.
So,what i am asking for:
My Files from the ip: 67.228.93.133
A full refund for the RAM i purchased from the ip :174.36.145.153
After that i have NO intention what-so-ever of purchasing from you again. You have poor customer service,and you are extremely bad at keeping a vps online.
